A BEAUTY fan has shared an honest review of Wilko’s makeup brushes and was pleasantly surprised by what she found.

Even though most of the brushes cost less than a fiver the beauty fan said they were still of decent quality.

Stephanie Toms shared her review in a YouTube video online.

She said: “I'm gonna be doing a full face using Wilko brushes”

“I picked up some of the premium ones and then also some of the standard ones if you want to see how they perform.”

Stephani explained the premium brushes only cost a few more pounds than the regular brushes.

She said: “Some premium ones, none of these are over £5. I think a lot of the plain black ones which are like the basic ones are like £2.”

Stephanie started with a silicone foundation brush which she used to apply her foundation brush.

But things got off to a good start.

She said: “Seems to be going on absolutely fine. I'm going to add a bit more coverage to the centre of my face but like I'm having no issues with this at all.”

“There's no streaks, it all blends out quite quickly, nice and soft.”

The beauty fan said she would even use the brush again.

Next Stepahnie went in with the £2 Wilko beauty blender

She said: “Seems to be doing the job, it feels like a nice sponge actually.”

The beauty fan said the powder makeup brush was a huge win.

She said: “It's a big fluffy brush though I like That it's a little bit larger than my other one it just kind of just saves me a little bit of time.”

In the end Stephanie was very impressed with her buys and said she might be making swaps from her everyday brushes.

She said: “I like these brushes.”

“I really really like these brushes. I don't think there's a single thing wrong with them.”

She added: “I tend to use a lot of high-end brushes; they're just the ones I tend to gravitate towards and I don't think my makeup looks any different.”
